Description
  • At front: note that it was 'presented by the Trustees of the Burridge Charity to William Moore, at the recommendation of the Rev J P Hodges, Vicar [of Lyme Regis], for regular attendance at Church, and his performance as Singer in the Gallery, Nov 10th 1838'. Inside front: signed 'Victoria Livermore of Honiton' undated [late 19th Century]. At back: copy of baptism entry for William, son of James and Eleanor Moore, at Litton Cheney, 15th November 1795, with note 'born October 8th'. [William Moore of Lyme Regis, d. 1868, was a musician and fossil dealer].
