Description
At front: rota of persons to serve as tithingman, 1819-1854. 1756. "That there Ought to be a New Peare of Stocks Erected". 1764 "There are no Stocks in the Parish". 1790 "That Ford Bridge is out of Repair and that the same ought to be repaired by the Parish". At back: 1) Poor rate assessments, 1780, 1784, 1789, 1797, 1805. 2) "A scheme for binding Apprentices according to the value of Estates". Agreement about this, 1801, with table showing 8 apprentices, (with their names and ages) being bound to various estate owners. Inside, loose: Notice of a court to be held for the Hundred of Whitchurch and manor of Marshwood, 1902.
